BFFs, don’t expect to see our favorite Golden Girl on DWTS! The 88-year-old actress says ABC keeps asking her to be on the show and she keeps turning them down!
Betty White isn’t putting on her dancing shoes anytime soon! We spoke with the Emmy Award-winning actress at the NYC premiere of her new TV Land show Hot in Cleveland, June 14, and she shockingly says she’s not interested in competing on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars!
“Oh, they’ve asked me … they’ve asked me several times,” admits Betty. “And my answer is always, I think Cloris Leachman took care of our age bracket.”
What a shame! We really believe Betty could take home the mirror ball trophy!
Since Betty witnessed firsthand the kiss between Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson at the MTV Movie Awards, we had to ask what she would have done if Sandra had planted a big wet one on her!
“I would have been very surprised!” says Betty.
We now have a mission on our hands! If a fan campaign could get Betty on SNL we’re sure we can get the TV legend on DWTS!
