New reports claim the blond activist and comedian may be taking over for the talk show host at the end of next year!
A new and somewhat unlikely contender has been entered into the race for Oprah Winfrey’s coveted talk show host chair – Jenny McCarthy! Page Six reports that Jenny, “has a development deal with Winfrey’s Harpo productions.” Who knew?!
A Harpo spokesperson was quick to shoot down the rumor, but the paper was still able to confirm McCarthy has joined the Harpo family. “We do not have anyone taking over for Oprah,” a spokesperson stated. “we do have a development deal with Jenny McCarthy. We are exploring possibilities across a number of platforms.”
Given her hysterical sense of humor and the amazing work she has done with autism activism, we think Jenny may be a perfect choice to take over for the talk show queen!

Jenny McCarthy has zero experience to take over the chair for OPRAH. She may have signed with HARPO, but they need to find someone with many years of experience. Oprah gave her best friend Gail a talk show, which is OK, I personally would not give it high reviews.
Doing a talk show day after day, is hard, and all the hours put in, it really takes away from personal life. Considering Oprah did 2 shows a day. That must have been a 15 hour or more a day. One must be really prepared for that kind a day.
And than worry about ratings which Oprah has been number one for years. And the person will have huge shoes to fill.
