Baby Bronx won’t be following in mommy and daddy’s musical steps — he’s going to be a football star!
Sorry baby Bronx Mowgli, but your daddy Pete Wentz doesn’t want you to be a rock ‘n’ roll star just like him! He want wants you to pursue a career as a professional athlete when you grow up — “Football, football,” Pete exclaimed enthusiastically to HollywoodLife.com at the Digital Content NewFront Conference in NYC on June 9. He told us he doesn’t want to be a “soccer dad … not in America!”
Though athletes have a shorter career span then musicians, Pete said “athletes make more money.”
And don’t worry little Bronx — if you make mistakes along the way, daddy wants you to know that you will be alright. “It’s okay for your kids to make a mistake,” Pete said, “as long as you give them a safety net!”
Sounds like daddy Pete is right in line to play defensive tackle for his little boy — at least when it comes to parenting. And, we KNOW mommy Ashlee Simpson-Wentz would be his biggest cheerleader.
Yesterday, Ashlee stayed at home to watch 20 month-old Bronx as Pete was out promoting the launch of Internet Week in NYC.
