South Korean pop sensation Rain will be attending tonight’s MTV Movie Awards and duking it out for the title of Biggest Badass for his role in ‘Ninja Assasin!’
Get ready America, tonight may be the night you finally get to know South Korean pop star and actor Rain as he is up for Biggest Badass at the MTV Movie Awards! Rain is nominated for his role in Ninja Assassin alongside Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans), Angelina Jolie (Salt), Chris Pine (Star Trek), and Channing Tatum (GI Joe). He even flew in from Korea specifically to attend tonight’s show!
For those of you who do not know, 27-year-old Rain, aka Jung Ji Hoon, has released 7 albums in his native South Korea and was a huge film star before coming stateside to star in flicks like Speed Racer and Assassin. Rain is now back in Korea preparing to star in the drama Runaway/Fugitive. On top of all that he also designs a clothing line, Six to Five!
He has already had mentions in the Time 100 and People‘s “Most Beautiful People” issue, meaning we should expect to see a lot more of Rain in the future!
