The ‘Iron Man 2′ and ‘Attack of the Show’ hottie shows up as the Senior Asian Correspondent on Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show!’
Fanboys rejoice – Olivia Munn may be the latest member of The Daily Show news team! The much loved actress and television personality made her debut last night as the show’s Senior Asian Correspondent, reporting on Vietnamese fisherman on the Louisiana coast. While her appearance in the segment was somewhat brief, she clearly proved she has the comedic chops for the job!
The Hollywood Reporter reports: “A Comedy Central spokesperson characterized [last night's] appearance as a ‘try out,’ something the network has done on occasion over the years with various performers.” It is likely Olivia will tape a few more segments, though her starring role in the new NBC comedy Perfect Couples might limit her ability to be a series regular.
Between her hosting duties at G4′s Attack of the Show, her new television comedy, and her various movie roles it seems like 29-year-old Olivia will have no lack of work for awhile!
