Can you blame a gal for trying? A young fan tried to sneak onto the set of Rob’s new movie this morning, but got nabbed before she saw him!
What would you do to get a glimpse of Robert Pattinson? Bet you can’t top this: one of his fans nearly got arrested in an attempt to see the star!
An insider on the set of R-Patz’s new film, Water For Elephants, told us a female fan nearly got arrested by the Ventura County Sheriffs Department early this morning, June 4, for trying to creep onto the Piru, Calif. set. “The incident happened extremely quickly, so no force or handcuffs were needed,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “The fan had a camera but security said she didn’t seem dangerous at all. It’s protocol to call the cops for any kind of trespassing though — cars drive past every few hours to make sure everything is going well.”
Out insider adds, “Fans have been really respectful so far. In no way was Rob or anyone in harms way!”
Sadly, the fan — who was around sixteen and was caught hiding in the bushes at 5 AM (determination!) wearing a Twilight T-shirt — didn’t get to see Rob, 24. He was sequestered away for the entire day in a big red barn.
Our source tells us the Twi-hard’s parents were called, she was dropped off at home, and given a stern warning from the cops. What a day!

please! if i were crashing a Rob set i woulda had a better plan than hiding in the bushes…omfg!!
