Calling all American Idols! Triple threat producer, director and choreographer Adam Shankman knows potential movie stars when he sees them – and he thinks Crystal Bowersox, Lee DeWyze and Casey James might be perfect fits for his highly-anticipated film version of Broadway musical Rock of Ages!
“There are so many Idol kids who I really love. It’s really interesting, a lot of people got [criticized], but I love Crystal; I love Lee; I love a lot of them, so it was very strange to me,” Adam, 45, told us exclusively at the So You Think You Can Dance viewing party May 27 in Hollywood. “I certainly would love to see any or all of them audition. If they feel like acting, I’d like to see it.”
