EXCLUSIVE! Crystal Bowersox Gets Over Her Split With A Little Help From Casey James!

Crystal was dumped by her long-term BF, Tony, the day before American Idol’s season finale — but she seems to be moving on just fine!

Was Crystal Bowersox crying into her drink after losing both her boyfriend, Tony Kusian, and the Idol crown all in two days? No, she was not. In fact, she seemed downright happy at the uber-exclusive post-finale Idol party, where she was caught celebrating with none other than second runner-up Casey James!

An insider at the bash, held at the Mondrian Hotel’s swanky Skybar in LA, caught Crystal, 24, kicking back with her dad, some friends AND the sexy rocker — whom she once confided to have a crush on. Hmmmm…..

Elsewhere, Crystal’s “musical crush”, season 9 winner Lee DeWyze, hung poolside with his parents — and golden goddess Carrie Underwood.

Kara DioGuardi wasn’t sniffing around Casey, strangely, but paying tribute to Simon Cowell on his last American Idol evening. Host Ryan Seacrest, former judge Paula Abdul and current judge Randy Jackson all abandoned the groups they came with to hang with the Brit. Even Ryan’s parents joined in the festivities, mingling with a crowd that included new BFFs Aaron Kelly and season seven runner-up David Archuleta.

Who else came to celebrate Lee’s big win? Brooke White, Michael Johns, Jason Castro and Melinda Doolittle came rounded out the Idol experience.

But back to Casey and Crystal….good idea, or not so much?

It’s really none of our business if Crystal and Casey decide to date. If there’s chemistry there…why not? I think Crystal is beautiful and her talent is in a class of its own. That would be cool if they both went on tour together after all this AI stuff is over. It would be an AWESOME concert!!

I can’t believe that Carrie Underwood would have much interest in Lee since she can sing and he can’t. As for Crystal and Casey I think he has way too much class to go for Crystal who upon finding out she was in the top 2 decided to hXmp Lee like he was a little short and stubby dog. Probably that’s why her boyfriend broke up with her! Was a very unladylike display on a show with a bunch of little children watching.
I could picture Crystal latching onto Lee or maybe even Joe Cocker. Is he married? I heard rumours that Crystal may be pregnat, but nothing there has been confirmed.
I picture Casey maybe doing a duet with Taylor Swift or Shania Twain. I would definitely buy that one. He’d also sound great with Carrie Underwood or Kellie Pickler and I could see a nice couple come about from either of these two.

I see Casey living the life he has wanted with his brother and mother. Then somday he will move on but it has all been to fast and everyone wants a piece of Casey. But he should never go backward as it never works. He should move on for better and he has good judgement and family around him so they will be aware who is there for Casey and who is not. It is really a problem as we have a son in the same problem and it has taken years but we think he may have found the right one but he is still going slow.
