You will never guess which Glee character thinks Kristen Stewart is a ‘b**ch!’
Glee was supposed to be all about the Gaga last night, but it was the HYSTERICAL Twilight plot line that made this episode sing! When a group of girls dressed in ‘Team Edward’ shirts went vampire on the editor of the school newspaper in an attempt to “get Robert Pattinson‘s attention,” Principal Figgins blamed an unlikely culprit: Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz!)
Thrown off by her goth garb, Principal Figgns (Iqbal Theba) asked that Tina put an end to her dark dress, as it was causing “Twilight fever.” That’s when Tina delivered the evening’s greatest line, explaining why she’s not even allowed to watch the vampire flick: “My mom says she thinks Kristen Stewart looks like a b**ch.” Too funny!
What did NOT deliver was the claim that this was a Lady Gaga episode. It only featured two of her songs! The girls and Kurt (Chris Colfer) performing “Bad Romance” was amazing, as was Rachel (Lea Michele) and Shelby’s (Idina Menzel) rendition of “Poker Face,” but we wanted more Gaga! We will, however, give the costume department major props for the UNBELIEVABLE Gaga outfits they put together for the cast!
It was not all song-and-dance last night, though, as Kurt found himself being attacked by an unlikely bully — Finn(Cory Monteith)! New roommates now that their parents have moved in together, Finn began to display some very hateful feelings about Kurt’s sexuality. One of the saddest moments of the season so far was when Kurt’s father (Mike O’Malley) walked in on Finn attacking Kurt and not only defended his son, but told Finn he needed to move out if he wasn’t ready to respect his family. What amazing, amazing acting in this scene!
One final thought on last night’s episode – where the heck are Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), Jessie St. James (Jonathan Groff), and Emma (Jayma Mays)?! Did they all just disappear from the Glee universe? We hope these three get back from wherever they are ASAP!
