What a boring two hours! It wasn’t even a competition!
After Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough got a perfect score right away March 25, it was so obvious from there on out that the Pussycat Doll was going to win Dancing with the Stars. Judge Len Goodman even told her she was going to win before Evan Lysacek had a chance to compete in the final dance-off! At least Evan landed in second place. And as much as I wanted to see Erin Andrews succeed, she is such an awkward dancer (as are her facial expressions!) and she can’t seem to loosen up. Things got even stranger when she and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy grabbed host Tom Bergeron’s butt!
I was mesmerized by how glamorous all the former season 10 contestants danced about in silver glittery dresses in their synchronized group performance. Of course, that was only until I saw Kate Gosselin. It was at this very moment that any excitement I might have had, disappeared and I knew I was in for a long night of DWTS coverage.
Thank goodness for all the other contestants, though! Shannen Doughtery proved herself worthy with her simple, yet flawless, minute of fame last night and reminded me why she should have made it longer on the show. Professional dancer Edyta Sliwinska and her celebrity partner Aiden Turner stole the limelight for a few minutes, themselves. Edyta, you have legs for days and moved so effortlessly. We love you! As for Niecy Nash and Pam Anderson, they rocked it out last night, doing what they do best — being sexy! Both of these lovely ladies know how to please the audience. More importantly, they love what they are doing and it really showed last night. You go divas!
Nicole clearly deserved to win, but the fact that it was so obvious from the beginning is why I feel the season finale was a flop! However, I must admit, most everyone looked fashionable in their outfits, especially host Brooke Burke who rocked a fitted gold dress that accentuated her every curve! News flash DWTS producers: Next year, be sure that EVERYONE has a chance to win!

What a garbage article! Nicole never got a perfect score until Week 8 (out of ten weeks!), the week AFTER Evan got a perfect score.
If you are referring to the 10,8,10 Nicole got in Week 2 – not March 25 but March 29, two previous celebrities got an even higher score of 10,9,10 in Week 2: Stacy Keibler in Season 2, and Joey Lawrence in Season 3. Neither won the mirrorball trophy; they both came in 3rd place.
And who said it wasn’t even a competition? Evan topped the leaderboard several times and tied Nicole several other times. Erin twice got higher scores than Nicole and tied her in the first night of the finals. Maybe you heard Tom say that the four semifinalists had each led the viewer vote in the past few weeks, so nobody had any idea who viewers would pick as their winner, and don’t forget, viewers votes count for 50% of the total score.
Tell Bonnie Fuller I am disappointed in her.
