Sarah Jessica Parker’s got some gorgeous new blonde tresses!
Besides her killer shoe wardrobe, I’ve always lusted after Carrie Bradshaw’s amazing hair. From her crazy curls, to her obvious roots, to her flat-ironed bob, she has always been an inspiration and a total trendsetter. Now, it looks like Carrie’s been inspiring Sarah Jessica Parker herself! The star of Sex and the City 2 showed up to her big New York City premiere on May 24 with brand new super blonde locks that are so reminiscent of something Carrie herself would have rocked. I really think the new, much lighter hue freshens up her whole look and makes her look years younger. Just look how much more gorgeous she looks with her summery tresses than with her darker ‘do she sported at the MET Gala on May 3. It’s amazing how much a new color can totally transform your look. I have always thought she looked prettier with lighter-colored hair. It takes years off your face, doesn’t it? It is never written about, but Ms. Parker is quite a role model for young women. She had a financially challenged childhood but was determined to make something of her life. She has worked since she was very young. She has given 200% in everything she has undertaken. She is an actress, singer, dancer, writer, director, producer, mother, wife, designer, and business wiz. She is never seen dancing on tables in Vegas, or doing drugs in clubs. Never seen a photo of her stumbling out of an after-hours establishment or being arrested for DUI. Instead of focusing on her hair color, someone needs to be singing her praises! She is a national treasure. I say that, and I’m old enough to be her mom!
