The big finale is TONIGHT! While Nicole is totally cracking under pressure, Erin is letting loose with her super competitive side!
After the May 24 episode of Dancing with the Stars, it looks like the pressure is taking its toll on leading lady Nicole Scherzinger, 31, who looked more than exhausted during her rehearsal and live performance. Yes, Nicole’s solo dance was flawless and full of technique, but the weird leg-lift she and partner, Derek Hough, 25, attempted only landed them a 27 out of 30! Tisk tisk. Where did those perfect scores go, guys?
On the other end of the spectrum, the pressure seems to have ignited the competitive flame that is Erin Andrews. Not only did the ESPN hottie look fabulous last night, but she also moved as though she may have actually learned something from her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 30, over the course of the season. How in the world Erin received her plum-sized bruise from Maks is another story! Erin’s loving this whole experienced, as she tweeted “U know u were a part of something special when ur trying to pick a rhinestone out of ur belly button. I will truly miss DWTS!!”
Last up was Evan Lysacek, 24, and partner Anna Trebunskaya, 29. What is there to say about these two? Their performances seemed disconnected and uncoordinated. Anna completely stole the show from Evan without even trying. As far as I’m concerned, Erin is now the DWTS competitor to beat. Maybe her basketball dance team days really will pay off!

Nicole did not crack under the pressure. The blown lift was Derek’s fault and he admitted it. Compare the tape of the one they did properly in the celebraquarium to the one they did on the floor and you’ll see Derek failed to grab Nicole’s hand she was offering him from underneath her leg, instead grabbing for it on top of her leg. She moved her hand to accommodate him as he shouted, “Just go!” but without the leverage of her hand being underneath her leg, she had no way to get up except to try to muscle her way up. Nicole is incredible!
Oh, and by the way, Nicole won!
