In the first major box office battle of the season, the ogres manage to take down Iron Man!
After three weeks on top of the box office, Iron Man 2 was finally taken down this weekend by Shrek Forever After which made an impressive $71 million! Box Office Mojo reports that Iron Man made about $26.5 million this weekend bringing it’s domestic total to $251 million! That’s pretty impressive Robert Downey Jr.!
Not faring as well was the newly released MacGruber which became this season’s first box office bomb, earning only $4.1 million. Yikes!
