Our JCPenney Teen Correspondent, Blaiz, Was The REAL Star At The Young Hollywood Awards!

From the racks to the red carpet to the rockin’ after-party, Blaiz Calhoun was a dream correspondent for JCP Teen and HollywoodLife.com!

Blaiz Calhoun bested thousands of HollywoodLife.com reader’s to be the 2010 JCP Teen Correspondent at HollywoodLife.com’s Young Hollywood Awards May 13 – and she was literally a dream come true! After traveling to Hollywood from her tiny hometown in Oregon, Blaiz spent a whirlwind day with me getting ready for the star-studded event of her life.

The day started off with a bang! Blaiz and I were introduced at JCPenney the morning of the awards and were invited to go on a shopping spree for that night. Joy! We had a fabulous time trying on dresses, picking out the perfect accessories and practicing walking in heels! Seriously, I hadn’t been in a JCPenney since I was a little girl and was majorly impressed by their selections. There were so many cute options that Blaiz and I had a really hard time choosing what to wear!

It’s easy to see why Blaiz was selected at a teen correspondent. The 16-year-old held her own beautifully on the red carpet at Los Angeles’ Ebell Theater May 13! While standing next to our Editor-in-Chief Bonnie Fuller, Blaiz and I laughed and joked with celebrities like The Jonas Brothers and the cast of Vampire Diaries…we had a blast!
