BFFs, are you upset with the judges decision last night to send Casey home? We love our blond, Texas man but we knew he would probably be sent packin!
Casey James is headed back back to the lone star state! The 27-year-old Texas native was voted off in last nights, May 19 episode of American Idol. We will miss our guitar playing, dog lovin man but now it’s down to the final two contestants — Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze.
We did love watching Casey preform his version of John Mayer‘s “Daughters” Tuesday, but we guess it wasn’t enough to keep him in the running!
Make sure to tune in next week for American Idol‘s season finale May 25 at 8pm!

I think it was clear to most who watched Tuesday’s broadcast what this competition has boiled down into: Lee has all the momentum, and Crystal needs to pull out a surprise or two to stop him. Both have been consistent performers this season (never in the bottom 3) – but only this week, did either really of them really give us that “wow” moment Idol feeds off of (with Lee’s “Hallelujah”). I’ll miss Casey, but I think these are the right final two for the finale.
