Watch the trailer to Zac’s new movie and just try to tell us you didn’t shed a tear — we totally did!
Zac Efron has finally kissed his High School Musical days goodbye! You’ll break out the hankies watching his metamorphosis from Disney star to serious thespian in the trailer to his upcoming drama, Charlie St. Cloud.
In the Burr Steers directed film, 23-year-old Zac plays lead character Charlie, who has to make a choice between keeping a promise he made to his brother, who died in a car accident, or going after the girl he loves (played by Amanda Crew). Tragic!
The trailer is so enticing we’re bummed we have to wait for it to hit theaters Oct. 15! But at least this leaves us time to stock up on tissues. Trust us, they’ll be necessary.
