Big hair, great make-up, awesome dress? I was sooo lucky!

I had so much fun Thurs. night, May 13th, at the 12th annual Young Hollywood Awards! I was hanging out with the Jonas Brothers – who are soooo smart and nice – and with our great LA reporter Kirstin Benson, as you can see. I even got to get ready with my 19 year-old daughter, Sofia, which was a blast.

I wore this amazing dress by American designer David Meister. It was comfortable, and fit perfectly.  I was even thrilled because I matched the step and repeat – that’s the back round on the red carpet AND best of all I was the same colors as Hollywoodlife.com! I loved it! Finding the dress was the hardest part of getting put together for the Big Night – which is hard to imagine considering my hair is a piece of work to say the least!

Ted Gibson’s amazing extensions got a real workout last night. Lara Kay @larackay did a genius job styling my hair. She was curling and teasing and curling and spraying and teasing.. . then voila a had a beautiful head of hair! I have NEVER had such big hair in my life! It was incredible — I wish I could keep her in my pocket and take her everywhere with me.

Everyone complimented me on my FABULOUS Jewelry, that I rocked on the red carpet- big champagney blingy disc earrings and gold cuffs. BFF’s you too can get my accessories by checking out Rich Rocks.

I was so happy with how my makeup turned out! Mark Cosmetics really did a great job! Wow- forget taking a village to raise a child – it takes a whole team- including my incredibly hardworking and stylish assistant Jen Murray, to get an editor -in-chief ready for her closeup with Artist of the Year- Nick Jonas- Style Icon- Ashley Green, Superstar in the Making, Nikki Reed, the adorable cast of the, Vampire Diaries, DWTS, Cheryl and Chad , and so many more that we honored or who were presenters and guests. Whew! A girl’s got a lot of pressure to look good.
