Sorry to disappoint ladies, but it looks like we won’t be seeing Zorro and his moves on the dance floor anytime soon.

Antonio Banderas does NOT want the highly coveted mirror ball trophy! We spoke with Antonio, 49, while he was out promoting his new fragrance, “The Secret,” in NYC on May 12 and he says he’s not into the idea of being on the ABC hit reality show. “I’d NEVER do Dancing With The Stars,” he told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Never!” But why Antonio?! We remember your stellar, sexy moves in your hit 1998 and 2005 Zorro movies! Don’t you want to shake your bon bon for all the devoted mommies out there? We think you’d be the perfect fit for the hit show!

But don’t get too upset, BFFs, because Antonio does want to dance … on BROADWAY! He tells us something is in the works for sometime in September 2011. We’ll make sure to keep our eyes out for that comeback!

Antonio, since you won’t be so bold as to dance your butt off on DWTS, we do think someone very close to you would be perfect to replace you! Drumroll please … your wife of 14 years, Melanie Griffith! We remember how she danced in the 1988 hit film Working Girl — so we know she’d work hard to win that number one spot!
