ahhh, they’re adorablee xD …this is practically typical in the dance world. it’s just that people are overreacting a little and seriously. just get over it. in types of dances like these (it might sound stupid) but two pieces are common and a lot of girls don’t wear much…just look it up on youtube or something you don’t see much fully clothed/covered up girls dancing jazz/modern/lyrical. it’s kind of a fact too..
honestly, i agree with what someone has said… you’re obviously not part of the dancing world not knowing that this is appropriate. the first thing i see is their energy and character and amazing abilities. if you don’t find this cute and that these girls have AMAZING talent..then you’re probably thinking its all sexual blah blah right? you just fail to see they have the potential to be WONDERFUL dancers. half of the things they do and their technique i can’t even do. it’s so matured and amazing. and NO i’m not talking about the “sexual” type of mature dance moves they’re doing i’m talking about their near perfect fouette turns. a lot of people may deem this inappropriate but i find them adorable and talented. they have much more talent and personality than so many other OLDER dancers that it surprises me. i think their dancing should be appreciated…

To all those who have something negative to say…save it! These girls are the bomb. Im 22 and can’t do it. They are truely talented. Their parents should be proud and not have to hear negative comments. They aren’t your kids..keep your opinions to yourself.

My eyes burn as a little more of my faith in humanity has been eroded.

Disregarding their OBVIOUS talent – my hips will never be able to move like that, and I sure as hell am not as flexible – they shouldn’t be dancing to a song about /marriage/ (and/or engagement) when they’re prepubescent. They don’t even have hips to put their hands on for those parts of the lyrics! Agh.

@Tiffie: YES. YOUR COMMENT IS WIN.

These young girls would have a better chance of winning if they added dance poles to their routine. Because of their small hands, they would need to use small diameter dance poles. Just trying to help them score better with the judges! What privilege it is to be a judge.

I don’t like my girls too young. somewhere around 8-teen 9-teen 10-teen 11-teen that’s about the limit though after that they get to opinionated and wrinkled.

Okay, honestly, I don’t understand what everyone’s so up in arms about. I’ve been a competitive dancer since I was five and this dance has got nothing on what I’ve seen some studios have little girls do. However, the fact is, is that these girls are PERFORMERS!! They don’t walk around every day wearing bras and booty shorts. As for people being afraid of pedophile’s, now, no one can help the fact that this is on youtube, but at any dance competition I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to quite a few over the years) there are generally guards manning the doors letting people in, and obviously a suspicious person that doesn’t look like he or she has a child or if affiliated with a studio would be asked to leave. Basically, what I’m trying to say is, let these dancers be! They’re amazing and don’t try to put them down because you don’t understand the world of competitive dancing!

I agree, they are amazing dancers, and I don’t think that the dance has any negative reflection whatsoever on the girls who danced. I do, however, question the adults who picked the costumes and some of the choreography. The dancers aren’t responsible for those decisions. They danced their hearts out and did what was asked of them, but that’s not to say that what was asked of them was perhaps a bit age-inappropriate…

Wow! These girls are amazing! I only wish I could move like that – what athleticism and timing. Very talented.
If you’ve seen the actual Beyonce video, you might be impressed how well these girls danced! As for the sexuality, well, as long as there are music videos like this one ( AND MANY which are waaaayyyyyy worse!) our kids are being raised with this kind of stuff all around them. May not be ideal, but it’s the reality. So, I commend the parents who recognized such talent in their kids and allowed them to compete! You can’t do anything about the sexuality that’s permeating every aspect and corner of our world. Might as well let them dance. Hopefully they got called for an encore!

Here’s the thing: yes, these girls are very talented; no one’s denying that. However, this is a highly sexualized choreography that is completely inappropriate for little girls their age! This is not a matter of being a “hater” or not appreciating the work that must’ve gone into the routine, but the bottom line is that this is in no way, shape, or form at all okay.

And if we say that the choreography and their costumes were indeed necessary in order for them to stand up to the competition, then I’d say that we need to re-examine what it is that we’re asking of our young performers. The cropped tops and the skirts will get shorter, the choreography more risque in order to draw a reaction.

It’s very sad, really. These young girls are being exploited.

These girls are amazing and are very talented. Yeah, they show off some skin but theres no need for all this negative commotion on them, their dancing, and their parents. Everyone has there own opinions and im proud to see these girls start at a young age and be incredible at dancing. If i was that young still i wish i could dance like that, have their moves and be as flexible as them. Being this good at dance now, there going to be incredible stars when there older. Keep up the amazing work ladies!

I think the girls did an awesome job. Its for a dance competition. There are other teams that show more skin. Some people need to look past the clothes and the dance moves and see the real talent that is in these girls. To all the haters….Get Over It!!!! Keep up the good work girls.

Amazing!!! What a great job these girls did! Wow…if only people would get past this sexual debate and see how incredibly talented these girls are – the outfits were fine and of course they are going to wear make-up -it’s a competition!

This would be an awesome video.. if u take away all the make up and revealing clothes. 7 yr old should not be wearing these type of outfits. performing or not.

I’m sorry, but how could you not be disturbed by this? These little girls have been completely sexualized and don’t even know it. They don’t understand what they’re doing, but their parents do. It’s horrifying. I shudder to think how many pedophiles have downloaded this video.

a 7 year old shouldn’t even know what those moves look like, let alone be able to do them. in 10 years can we see a where are they now? because guaranteed 3 of them will still be dancing…. on a pole.

Bad enough we have young girls being killed by pedafiles, now we have freelance videos available for their pleasure. I took dance for 10 years as a little girl and NEVER dressed like that.

and now they will never be miss america cause their sex dance video at age 7 will be dug up…..

Oh my goodness. When you took dance did your body ever move that that? Dance is not only an art, it’s a sport. One needs to be coordinated, and in very good physical condition. Timing, rhythm, gymnastics, and an excellent memory. Because Dance is an art, a performance, it will many times, more than not, require costumes, and the costumes those little ladies were wearing are awesome.

Pedophiles could care less about these little ladies-in particular…they are obsessed with sex and children. And, when these little ladies grow up, they will have an excellent opportunity to be Miss America. They will have perfected their skill in dance and be fierce competition. Dance teaches music, it teaches diversity, it teaches one how to care for one’s body, how to eat and stay hydrated.

Our Olympic Swimming Champion showed off quite a bit of body, kind of made me want to blush, lol. Stop giving your negative thoughts to the world, and give us the best of you. Children have been imitating adults since “forever.” It’s wonderful that we can teach them and have them imitate us in forms of Art, instead of perpetuating anger and fear.

There was nothing ‘sexy’ about the dance, some very good moves, and some very very challenging movements. The young ladies still appear to have some timing issues, but they are real performers, and I throughly enjoyed them.

If these ladies continue to dance, I look forward to seeing them when they are 10, 12, 16, etc., cause if they can dance like this now, I know they can only get better!

Are you kidding? Seriously? They’re wearing skimpy bikini looking outfits and grinding and writhing all over the stage. Yeah, they’re great dancers but come on… They’re children dressed up and dancing around like strippers. Standards anyone?

There is nothing funny or cute about parents and the choreographer who chose THIS SONG…there’s a whole Ultra Lolita taint to this. Everyone knows that little girls, and that’s what they are, can dance anything you show them to dance. But they were taught moves and postures of much older women who are trying to SEDUCE a MAN. These are moves of SEDUCTION that cannot be separated from the act of SEX…and sex with WHO? Other 7 year old boys? Grown men? Either way it is despicable.

things like that are proofs that our “modern” societies (usa,europe..) are babylon the great whore
societies which praise satan by prostituing his youth to “glory” and “fame”
(the same way pagans killed their own children to idols)

“A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young” (Dt 28: 50)

repent and return to GOD before it’s too late you pagan
