Shooting for the final ‘Twilight’ sequel is supposed to start in the fall, but a new report says a salary dispute could derail filming — and could we see different stars playing the Cullen kids? For the love of the undead, say it isn’t so!
Everything was all set for Breaking Dawn to get going this fall in Vancouver — stars, director, lights, camera — but there’s no action! The Hollywood Reporter says that a fight over money is putting the start of the filming in jeopardy.
As you might expect, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner are all getting their due loot — “big raises,” says THR — to return for the fourth (and fifth) film installments. (The movie version of Breaking Dawn is being split into two movies to be released in Nov. 2011 and summer 2012.)
Problem is, the movie studio Summit Entertainment is reportedly having difficulty getting some of the stars to sign on because they’ve become such big stars in their own right. Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are “trying to sink their teeth into bigger paydays,” but Summit might not give them anything to chew on.
Good news: The deals for Peter Facinelli (who plays Daddy Cullen) and Billy Burke (who plays Bella’s dad) are done.
Tell Summit they’ve GOT to get Kellan and Ashley on board! ASAP!
