Tiger’s people are dividing the couple’s assets now… and working extra hard to keep it all private!
Make no mistake, BFFs — Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren‘s divorce is still happening, and it may be progressing faster than we thought. TMZ is reporting that the couple is trying to keep all custody and property settlement agreements to themselves by leaving them out of the court file. They’re also deciding where they want to file for divorce, Florida or Sweden, where Elin hopes to live with their two children, Sam, 2, and Charlie, 1. Tiger reportedly wants the option of petitioning for custody in Florida or Sweden.
West Palm Beach lawyer Thomas Sasser, TMZ reports, will play a crucial role in Tiger and Elin’s divorce. He’s an expert in settling child custody agreements in which the parents plan to live in separate jurisdictions. And in this case, it wouldn’t just be two jurisdictions — it would be two countries!
Another report adds that things seem to be surprisingly cordial between the estranged spouses.
“There is no arguing any more,” a source close to the couple tells RadarOnline.com. “They don’t fight. There is a coldness between them and it’s Elin who is pulling the plug on the marriage.”
We all know Tiger wants to keep the marriage going, but even he has to recognize that he’s screwed it up beyond repair. Elin is doing the only thing any woman would do in her situation.
