Every time I’ve walked into a store this spring I’ve tried on a cute straw fedora. I never actually buy one because I have no idea what to do with my hair if I were to get it. Fortunately, Diane Kruger was out at Karl Lagerfeld‘s party in Saint-Tropez, France on May 10 sporting not only a trendy fedora but a super-cute ‘do with it! I love that Diane managed to incorporate spring’s biggest hair trend, the braid, into her look. Notice how the messy side braid keeps some volume next to her face, perfectly balancing out the bold hat. I’m also pretty obsessed with the simple black satin bow she tied at the end of the braid. Not only is it totally functional, it also incorporated the pretty black band in her hat, tying together to whole look. Looks like I have found the perfect hat hair look for summer!
