Former Bachelor contestant Melissa told HollywoodLife.com why she loves being a wife — and what drives her nuts about hubby Tye Strickland!
Melissa Rycroft LOVES being a wife. In fact, the former Bachelor contestant is SO happy, she could barely stop gushing about her newlywed status!
“My favorite thing [about being married is] just having your buddy around all the time,” the 27-year-old Good Morning, America correspondent told us at the Race to Erase MS Gala in Los Angeles May 7 of tying the knot with Tye Strickland last Dec. “We didn’t live together before we got married so it’s been fun having him there in the night, in the morning and when he comes home from work. It’s fun, he’s always there!”
Even though she’s thrilled to have her hubby, an insurance agent from Texas, around 24/7, Melissa admitted it’s not all fun and games; despite being childless, she already feels like a mom! “He’s messy and he knows that,” she complained. “It’s endearing and I love it, baby — but he’s a boy! That’s what you expect! I technically already have a child.”
