No wonder Heidi & Seal are such a tight couple — they re-tie the knot every year!

Heidi Klum and Seal‘s annual vow renewal ceremony is like the Oscars of weddings — it happens every year, and you never know what to expect! This year’s theme, People reports, was more traditional than in years past as Heidi, 36, & Seal, 47, asked their guests to dress up like brides and grooms. The couple said “I do” again May 8 on a beach in Costa Careyes, Mexico, at sunset before a small gathering of family and friends.

The fun continued at Heidi & Seal’s home, where about 80 people celebrated the day with an outdoor reception. To complete the mood, their yard was adorned by an open-air, thatched-roof hut which was covered with white flowers, and illuminated by dozens of chandeliers and thousands of candles.

People reports that the couple kicked things off May 7 with a private dinner and karaoke party in which they both took a turn at the mic. (We’re not surprised Seal decided to belt out a tune, but Heidi? We had no idea she had pipes!)

Heidi & Seal were first married in May 2005 in Mexico, after dating for some time. They have four children — Henry, 4, Johan, 3, Lou, 7 months, and Leni, 6, who is from Heidi’s first marriage.

Congrats to the happy couple! I think it’s great that they rekindle their marriage every year by going back to where it all began.
