Miley, you’re trying to look sexy on your new album cover, but it’s coming off awkward & uncomfortable!

We’ve been through this before, but Miley Cyrus, you seriously need to tone down the sex-factor! This new photo of you, for your upcoming album Can’t Be Tamed, is yet another example of you trying to grow up too quickly — and it shows in your face. You may have a fit little figure, but the uncomfortable expression your face is proof you’re not ready for the sexy persona you’re putting forward. And considering you’re still 17, that’s a good thing! We know you want to shed your Hannah Montana image, but do you really want to end up like Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears in the process?

She doesn’t look any different from Britney, Christina, Hillary Duff, Jessica Simpson, hell even Mandy Moore, et al at that age…it’s not shocking, surprising or different. It’s just Usual. Not impressed.

That said why does she look so old? Seriously? The girl is 17. I’m talking facially not what she’s wearing. She looks like she’s in her 20s, 30s even. That part I don’t get.

If it was her in a bikini, like Elin pic that she posed for magazine, then that would be over the top. Miley barely showed anything here. Like I said before, look at Rihana, ever since whatever Chris Brown did to her, Rihana has been seen in magazine and videos with little clothes on. That’s tasteless. And I don’t know why they made Rihana a cover girl. She’s ugly. I can see Queen Latifah, and Taylor Swift being the Cover Girl models, but not Rihana.
Queen has a welcoming, friendly, warm face. Taylor has a princess, youth looking face. Rihanna has a face of a “whatever” thing. Keep your clothes on Rihana.

I am about the same age as miley and i used to think she was a cool person to look up to, but know she just blends in with all the other teenage sluts i know which i a real shame. this isn’t even appropriate for her younger fans to see, so know selena gomez and demi lovato will be the next big stars. and for brads comment, i am trying to become a singer and i have recorded songs in the studio and so i know how it all works, and you DO have control over what your album cover looks like!

Are you people that naive? Miley has no more control over her album cover than I do over the weather. She is owned by the record company and she will do what they say. It’s no different than working at Macdonalds. You wear and do what your boss tells you to do. Miley doesn’t write her songs, they are chosen for her, she doesn’t sing them how she wants, she is told how to sing them, she doesn’t dress how she wants to, she is told how to dress, she doesn’t pose how she wants to, she is told, she doesn’t try to look sexy, she is told to look sexy, are we getting the picture. I work in the music industry and this is how it works. She is a product, and the record company will sell her as a product in the way they feel they will make the MOST money out of her. end of story.

Miley is 17 going on 30 for Christ sakes. They grow up fast in the South. Hell 100 years ago women her age where married and had 2 kids by now. These days we try to retart the growth of teenagers somehow.
Miley doesn’t have to try very hard to be sexy, so she using what she’s got to break out of her stereotype, Remember 90% of child stars never continue on past their 20′s. Gotta say I don’t think this is ‘sexy’ at all and it sorta looks like she’s about to cry…I wish she’d realize that this is not the kind of look that garners the respect she so obviously wants. She wants to be seen as an adult and I’m cool with that but she should try something a little more classy and a little less desperate. Rough and edgy don’t have to equal selling your body. honestly I like it. She’s growing up and people need to accept that. The reason people don’t like it is because they have the Disney Channel Hannah Montana image of her stuck in their head and since she does come from an innocent and goody two shoes image people don’t like her new more grown up rougher image. 18 in the chronologically age of an adult. Every one knows that people mature at different rate, mentally, sexually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, spiritually, etc..

There is nothing wrong with her CD cover. You want to see sleezy, look at Rihana’s pics. You won’t have to look too hard to find something sleezy. I wouldn’t say Miley CD cover is sexy nor would I say it’s sleezy or slutty. She’s at that age and she’s discovering herself. Let her be.

Oh, no doubt Rihanna has been portraying herself as very cheap trash but she is also an adult.

Taylor Lautner was 17 when the movie was shot. Refer to his profile on imdb.com. He turned 18, Feb 11, 2010, after the movie was released. Those drooling over his scenes in New Moon are no less indulging in pedophilia, than those drooling over Miley’s pictures. Children are children. Period!

The double standard stands. When a girl poses sexy and is 17, its horrifying, but a lot of men let it go unprotested, and women cry outrage at this… but when its a boy posing sexy… suddenly a lot of those women stop crying outrage too. Go figure.

The difference there is that Taylor Lautner is 18. He is a legal adult and can, therefore, wear whatever he wants (within legal limits of course.) Miley Cyrus is 17. She is still underage and what she is producing is borderline child pornography. Yes, I realize that she is “Not a child” but she is still a minor. Age isn’t the only issue, even a 25 yr old shouldn’t pose like this to sell their music. Their talent should. I am very disappointed in the industry for pushing the sex at any age. As for the men trying to look sexy, they look pretty bad too, like gigalos.
