Looking for a radiant, springtime look? Copy Queen Latifah’s pretty pearlescent premiere makeup!

Queen Latifah hit the red carpet in NYC on May 4 for the premiere of her new film, Just Wright looking regal as ever. I love how she mixed different metallic tones for a fun, fresh look. “The inspiration for the look was spring chic,” says makeup artist, Monifa Mortis who created her gorgeous look. “Earth tones with a metallic finish.”

Here’s how Monifa got Queen’s look!

“For the eye, I used a combination of gunmetal, green and charcoal colors,” she says. “To get the look, try COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Citrus Flair using the green color on the base of the lid and blend up. Layer COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Silver Sky over the green in the crease of the eye and blend up towards the brow bone,” Monifa says.

“Add a gold highlighter along the lower lash line and up at the brow bone, try COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire,” she says.

“To finish her eye, I used a few coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Length Mascara in black for glamorous long lashes,” she says.

For her face, I used COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Pressed Powder in Brown to add a warm glow,” Monifa says.

“I finished the look with COVERGIRL ShineBlast Lip Gloss in Ember, which Queen took with her in her clutch for touchups throughout the night,” Monifa says. - Marta Topran
