Miley, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus — aren’t Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan enough of a warning to you — why are you OVERSEXUALIZING a 17 year-old!
Hey Miley, you may be ready to kiss Hannah Montana good-bye, but just because you don’t want to be a role model or do music for much longer, doesn’t mean you should be 17 going on 27.
Your new music video “Can’t Be Tamed” might as well be NC-17 rated. you’re writhing around, humping, lying on the ground supposedly making out with two men, your breasts are half falling out of your $25,000 corset, you’re wearing thigh high boots and heavy come-hither eye make-up.
Ok, so you can’t be tamed — that’s obvious, so your parents are letting you sexualize-yourself all over the place. They already allowed you to be photographed half- naked on the cover of Vanity Fair when you were 15. But, you should be blamed for shirking your responsibilities to all your teen and tween fans.
Whether, you want to be a role model or not, you are — you’ve made a HUGE career off of appealing to little girls. You owe your stardom to them and it’s not right to abandon your fans or encourage them to be bra-baring pole dancers (oh yes, you’ve done that too).
Honestly, haven’t you, your family and handlers learned anything from the personal disasters called Britney and Lindsay, who also oversexualized themselves, at way too young an age.
Surely, you can successfully cross-over to adult stardom like Celine, Mandy Moore, Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman, Claire Danes or Emma Watson without looking like one of Tiger’s girls.. Mark my words Miley — no good can come of growing up and stripping down too soon!
