Brittany Snow's Smoky Under Eye Shadow, Is It A Do Or A Don't?

Would you wear as much shadow as Brittany Snow under your eyes?

Tell me, do you have this same problem? Whenever I’m doing a smoky eye I have no qualms putting as much shadow as necessary on my upper lids but when it comes to under my lower lash line I always get timid. It just always looks so weird on me to really bring down the shadow further than just the lash line. But, look at Brittany Snow, she wore really exaggerated under eye shadow to the Charlotte Ronson & JC Penney Spring Cocktail Jam at Milk Studios on May 4 in LA. The smoky shadow even comes down below her lower lashes. I think it looks really great on Brittany but I’m skeptical that this would transfer to the real world. Do you wear as much dark shadow under your eyes too for special nights out or is this a red carpet-only kind of look? - Marta Topran

Yes, for evening cocktail parties & Balls I wear it just like that..Or I should say that is how my friends put it on me..It brings out your eyes..You go heavier at night and light during the day..

This is a look best left to the makeup artist. You have to really know what you’re doing or it comes off looking like your eye makeup smeared. Definitely more of an evening look.

Whoever did her makeup did an excellent job. I would wear makeup like that to an event but the only time it looks good is when someone does it for me.
