Sorry Girlfriends but It's K-Stew's First Fashion Catastrophe!

K-Stew did Edward take a bite out of the bottom of your dress?

Kristen you’ve hit the mark repeatedly on the red carpet until now and even struck it out of the ball park at the Oscars. Maybe because you looked so fabulous in the dramatic black strapless Monique Lhuiller gown at the Oscars, you thought you could do a repeat performance with your Chanel Haute Couture number that you wore to the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute’s black tie gala last night, May 3rd.

But Kristen, what happened to your skirt? If Edward didn’t rip it off, then there’s no excuse for going this gimmichy!

Next time, either show off your great legs in a short dress or have a ball wearing a full-on floor-length.

That dress wouldn’t have been so bad if the sheer draping at the bottom was cut off. It would look like one of her typical short dresses that are so cute and flattering on her.

She needs to stay in pants. Once upon a time women wore haute couture pants and tops to events like this, and she needs to bring that back. She kills in skin tight pants and hot shoes, and fabulous jackets, but she is so obviously uncomfortable in dresses, she shouldn’t be made to wear them. It’s too bad she isn’t strong enough or cares enough, or has a stylist who isn’t strong and courageous enough, to make that happen. She should be a trail blazer in fashion, and wear what is comfortable for her, not fancy dresses like everyone else. Coco Chanel changed the world by putting women in pants and jackets, inspired by military uniforms, designing a jacket for women with arm holes high enough to allow women to raise their arms while wearing them, before she invented the LBD.

i’m actually going to give her a pass on this. i think b/c she’s basically a teenager (okay, 20- same thing), it works as a more youthful fun look. b/c it’s k-stew, it doesn’t come across as slutty (on lindsay, for example, it would just look trashy). it also works for her b/c she doesn’t have cleavage spilling out- which would also pull this into the trashy realm. so, i actually think it works and is BETTER than the first dress. yes, the first dress is more classic and elegant- but she’s young and “rock”. so, for her, this dress works and looks edgy and appropriate, imho.

I like it. Seriously, with what models wear on the runway and how people go gaga over those outfits, this dress is great. This is fashion – no fashion is good looking unless it’s in style, and quite frankly, that’s sad.

This dress is an example. It is no better then last dress the reviewer liked.

The current dress looks like a pillow case with sheer curtains on it. The last dress just looks like a massive pillow case.

And you know what? She looks fabulous in both.
