Parents splitting up is hard enough on a child — why is Halle Barry’s ex Gabriel trying to start a battle over custody of Nahla?

Is Halle Barry‘s baby daddy Gabriel Aubry trying to pull an Elin Nordegren?

According to RadarOnline.com, Gabriel is upset with all the media attention on him and their 2-year-old baby Nahla, that “he is even considering lawyering up and launching a custody battle, with the sole aim of taking [Nahla] to Canada to live away from the Hollywood spotlight.”

Don’t do it, Gabriel! Even you are upset at Halle for stirring up media attention, as RadarOnline is saying, you agreed to share custody of your daughter 50/50 — and you should stick to it!

“Aubrey has been concerned with the media attention that has been stirred since the news of their breakup became public,” the site reports. Plus, he is “also unhappy with the stories he believes are being generated from Halle’s camp, where he has been painted as a man unable to support his child, and as someone that was unable to ‘pull their weight’ in the relationship – something, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com, is far from the truth.”

That doesn’t seem like a good enough reason to launch a custody battle and try to take Halle’s baby away from her to Canada!

Why is he launching a custody battle you ask? Because the latest headlines she’s started proceedings to keep him away from her permanently. Does this sound like a sane woman? Not to me. I don’t blame him one bit, she’s actively trying to zero him out of her life, along with false accusations. The woman is a nutjob.

I think there’s some truth to what he’s saying. Halle has had a couple of public break-ups…you tell me, who’s the common denominator????

I think as beautiful and as sweet as she may seem, I think she is a piece of work to live with!

I don’t think her camp sent out the statement that it was one thing to be with a 38 year old, but now that she is 43, and he is 34, he sees the HUGE age gap differently. That was mean, and to retaliate and say he couldn’t hold up his end of the deal . . . . . sounds about right to me.

She is the bigger person in this deal, and he CAN’T STAND IT. He will never be as big as when he was with her. He might as well accept it.

And because they are unmarried, I don’t know why she gave him 50/50 to start with. Usually never married moms get full physical custody, don’t they? She was probably avoiding child support payments, and by threatening to go for full legal custody, he is really threatening to go for child support.

Halle, get another man, quickly. That is the best revenge.
