Millions tuned in to see Kate on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ — so why is her new book bombing?
Kate Gosselin’s first week sales are in for her latest book, and the numbers are low – very low! The 35-year-old mother of 8 released I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family last week, and the book only managed to sell 10,000 copies in its first week, landing her at #11 on The New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction List.
By comparison her previous two books, Multiple Bles8ings and Eight Little Faces, both reached #5 on the Times list, with Bles8ings selling 523,000 copies in 2009. BFFs, you’re not coughing up the cash for Kate!
Plus, almost one million viewers stopped watching when the reality mom left Dancing with the Stars … but they aren’t rushing out to buy her book. Why?
BFFs, do you like Kate less because she’s a single mom now? Or do you really feel like the book is exploiting her kids? Maybe DWTS was enough of Kate and you didn’t need her book?
Tell us! Are you planning to buy Kate’s new book?

The reason many people won’t buy her book is because they don’t like Kate. And a lot of us do not like Kate Gosselin because for the majority of “seasons” of her television show she demeaned, embarrassed, belittled, degraded and exposed her vulnerable children. She and her husband profited by humiliating their children and did it over and over again. Kate apparently is befuddled by the negative comments about her. She buys into the notion that her detractors are made up of people who like to criticize for trivial things like her hair, her clothes and bad dancing. She also likes to blame the paparazzi for all of her woes as if she is the only celebrity getting their picture taken when out and about. But as the good narcissist that she is, she completely ignores the fact that there are so many of us who don’t care what she looks like but rather are appalled by her mistreatment of her children. And for Kate lovers, dress like her, style your hair like hers, wear a frown on your face all the time and pretend you’re being hounded by paparazzi but DON’T treat your children the way Kate treats her children.
