Are you dying to see ‘Glee’ on Broadway? Well, so is Kristin! The former guest star and current Broadway actress talked to HollywoodLife about bringing the hit TV show to the stage!
Broadway babe Kristin Chenoweth has been lucky enough to guest star on the hit show Glee — but now she wants to see it become a Broadway musical!
“I think it could become a Broadway show,” Kristin told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the City of Hope luncheon at the Waldorf=Astoria on Apr. 26, where she was honored with a Women of the Year Award. “It already has a built in audience, people love it, and it has great music. But I think it will be awhile before that happens.”
The petite blonde — who was joined by Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb, and her Broadway show Promises, Promises co-star Sean Hayes — also shot down reports that she wills star in the film Dorothy of Oz with Lea Michele. “I’ve heard that! That’s a lovely, lovely story. I would love to be in that movie, but I have no idea what it is.”
We think Glee would make the BEST Broadway musical! Do you agree? Would you pay to see the show live on stage?
