Although his time at NBC is over and done with, Conan O’Brien wants to broadcast his new TBS show from his former NBC Universal Studios set!

Don’t stress out, Jay Leno. Conan O’Brien wants to return to NBC, but just to use the set he felt so comfortable on The Tonight Show!

“Conan considers the NBC building home,” a Conan insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “He’s hoping to make a deal to return. The building already has so much history, and he wants to make ‘new history’ with it.”

But while the 47-year-old comedian is lobbying for his return (his last show was on Jan. 22) to the NBC Universal Studio building — his home for the past year when he took over for Jay, 59 — he may not get his way. The insider says that TBS — Conan’s new network as of April 12 — may have already selected a new studio for CoCo to broadcast from when his new show debuts in November.

“If Conan can’t get his old studio back, he might go to Warner Brothers instead, which would be the smartest choice as its’ right next to George Lopez’s studio,” our insider says, adding, “It will make their late night bond that much tighter.”

Do you think Conan should return to his old home or make a fresh start somewhere else? Of are you like us, who just want our CoCo back any way we can get him?
