Looking for a way to green your beauty routine but hate to part with your favorite products? This Earth Day, pick up a greener version of your (and Julia Roberts’) go-to gloss!

Julia Roberts wore the cult-favorite original Lancôme Juicy Tubes to the Golden Globes this year and Angelina Jolie is a huge fan of them too. Now, thanks to Lancôme’s new Juicy Tubes 100% Natural Origin lip glosses, they, and you, can painlessly incorporate something eco-friendly into your makeup bags. Unlike the original Juicy Tubes, these new natural glosses are preservative-free. And, I can attest, the new formula is amazing! I find them to be less thick than the original and much yummier tasting. This is probably due to the fact that Hungarian honey is the main ingredient. A bit of shea butter also helps keep the lips hydrated while hints of vanilla, apricot and raspberry add a flavorful burst. I can’t stop putting on the subtly-pink Rose Pretty shade. But, all four hues are pretty sheer so they’ll look great on everyone. I promise, you won’t be sacrificing quality for eco-conciousness with these new glosses. You can get them here! - Marta Topran

Yeah, too bad L’Oreal (aka Lancome) is one of the most notorious cosmetics companies for animal testing. A few lip glosses created for purely marketing purposes does not really make the earth a better place for some of its inhabitants you test on, does it? What gets to me is when actresses who are supposedly pro animal rights toss away their “beliefs” for money. It’s so amazing how easily millions of dollars can sway someone’s supposed views.
