Yesterday, Kim tweeted a photo of herself holding a little black kitty by it’s neck and her fans were OUTRAGED! We immediately told Kim she CAN’T hold a kitten like that and NOW Kim is defending herself!
Kim Kardashian snapped a photo Apr. 19 while she was at a photo shoot in Sydney, Australia gripping a black kitty cat by its neck and she Twitpic’d it. HollywoodLife.com, fans, and PETA immediately spoke out- telling Kim that that’s not how you pick up or hold a little cat! Now Kim has responded to our posted by tweeting Apr. 20 “I would NEVER do anything to hurt an animal!”
But the gorgeous brunette didn’t stop there. She took to her blog to make sure her fans knew the owner of the cat was actually on set with her. “Hey guys! So yesterday I was doing a photo shoot with an adorable black kitty cat and I Twitpic’d this picture … I have been getting negative comments regarding the way I was holding the kitty, but rest assured, the owner and vet were on set and showed me how to pick him up. The cat was not harmed in any way and is perfectly fine! I love animals and would never do anything to harm any animals.
Kim, we hate to break it to you but we spoke with PETA and a PETA rep told us, that’s not how you hold a cat! “Kim Kardashian isn’t the only person who mistakenly thinks that because a mother cat picks up her kittens by the scruff of the neck, that a supportive hand under the rump isn’t needed,” PETA rep Amanda Schinke explained to us. “Some cats prefer to be cradled, while others might like sitting up in your arms or being draped over them.”
