What did you think of her interesting choice on the red carpet?

I’m all for an exposed zipper down the front, back, or side of a dress, but I don’t know how I feel about Amanda Seyfried‘s busy get-up on the red carpet. Granted, Amanda is always taking chances and last night wasn’t an exception — even if I wasn’t totally won over by her look. The starlet showed up at the LA premiere of her latest flick, Mother and Child, on Apr. 19 sporting a purple satin sheath with a zipper down the front, black tights, Miu Miu open back pumps, a Miu Miu clutch and a french braid — while I thought the frock was interesting from the front, I was surprised to get a glimpse of the back which gave way to grey, black, and white.

Don’t get me wrong, I think the dress is fun and youthful, making it a good choice for Amanda, but not necessarily the best pick for premiere night. What do you think of her colorful choice?
