They may not have made it as a couple on the small screen, but John Corbett says “of course” Carrie and Aidan love one another enough to make it work in the SATC 2 movie!
If you think Carrie Bradshaw is destined to be with Mr. Big, beware! John Corbett — who played the (debatable) love of Carrie’s life — says some SERIOUS love drama is going down between the former flames in Sex and the City 2!
“I can tell you that the girls go to Abu Dhabi and Carrie [Sarah Jessica Parker] bumps into Aidan in old Abu Dhabi…Aidan may or may not be married,” John, 48, teased to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show April 19.
Reading our minds, (thank you, Ryan!) the 35-year-old host cut to the chase and asked John what we’ve all been thinking. “Hypothetically, do you still think there’s enough love and feelings left over for [Carrie] that you would cheat on your wife and she would cheat on Big?” he wondered.
“Oh, yeah,” the actor answered without a moment’s hesitation, reiterating, “Of course! Yeah, there’s always that vibe.”
The details of SATC2, which hits theaters May 27, have been shrouded in so much secrecy that John even lied to us about his return to the series! “No, no, I’ve heard rumors, but it’s just not happening,” the sneak told HollywoodLife.com Feb. 20.
As it turns out, Aidan’s not only coming— he’s bringing major drama with him!
