“The Situation” already applied for unemployment once! Does he really want to have to do it again?
I don’t think the Jersey Shore crew knew what they were getting themselves into when they gave the OK to head to South Beach, Miami, to film the second season of their hit MTV show. Snooki and the gang have reportedly been spending up to $400 a night partying in Miami, and a source tells RadarOnline.com they don’t know “how long they can keep it up” — especially considering MTV isn’t giving them extra money to support their nights out. And for Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, this isn’t the first time a tightened cash flow has caused serious problems. TMZ has court documents that show “The Situation” filed for unemployment in New Jersey on Oct. 25, 2009 — less than two months before the first season of Jersey Shore aired on MTV.
Fortunately for the cast (especially “The Situation”), some Miami nightclubs are being good sports and are giving them all free drinks and bottles. I guess that’s a win for everybody — free partying for the cast, more publicity for the bars, and actual entertainment for the rest of us who will no doubt be glued to the TV when the second season of Jersey Shore premieres this summer on MTV.

i don’t think people should be worrying about their wallets. Due to their popularity from season one, they’ve been paid by nightclubs upwards to 10 grand just to make an appearance and hang for an hour or two.
