Nick Jonas wants to run for President! But it doesn’t sound like Selena Gomez is going to make it to First Lady status …

Hasn’t Nick Jonas found enough fame and success? Guess not! The super star tells Parade magazine he wants to take it a step further … and would even love to run for president one day!

His family even calls him “Mr. Prez!” Nick tells the mag, “It was a joke at first. Then I thought, ‘Man, it actually would be cool to run for President one day.’” Well, Nick HAS met Barack Obama, so maybe he could list our current president as a reference!

Nick’s new band The Administration, debuted its first album in February, and Nick says his brothers Joe and Kevin have been HUGE supporters of his band. “We make decisions together — even when we’re doing things individually,” Nick, says. “Going into my first solo album, it’s good to know that they were excited. There’s been a good vibe from the get-go.”

One topic Nick avoids, though, is his relationship with Selena Gomez. “It’s a lot more boring than anyone wants to think,” he reveals. Ok, Nick … whatever! Would you vote for Nick Jonas for president? —Corynne Steindler
