Jennifer Aniston finally shares the details behind her debut fragrance!

Finally, details are out about Jennifer Aniston’s highly anticipated debut fragance, Lolavie. “It’s been a year-and-a-half journey,” she tells WWD. With so many celebrities launching fragrances, it seems odd that Jen would wait so long to throw her hat in the ring. “I’d been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic. But when Leon [Falic, president of the Falic Fashion Group] approached me to be involved with the process from inception to fruition, I thought, ‘This could be a creative expression.’ And it’s turned out to be an extension of myself as opposed to slapping my name on something,” she says.
Unfortunately, if you’re living in the USA, you’ll have to keep waiting to get your hands on Lolavie. As of now, it’s scheduled to launch in the U.K. in June at the famous Harrods department store. It will be coming to us here in the US but a date has yet to be determined.
So, what does Jen’s signature scent smell like? It’s “sexy and clean” and “floral, but not too flowery,” she says. The elixir is housed in a bottle inspired by Jen’s love of modern architecture and waves at the beach.
The reason behind the name Lolavie will forever be a mystery to all but Jen. “It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell,” she says. “But it has special significance.” Hmm, we wonder what that may be.
Images for the ad campaign that will launch in British fasion magazines in June were shot in one of Jen’s favorite vacation spots, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico by photographer Mario Sorrenti.

She had to have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on choosing a name for her perfume, and that is all she could come up with? She should have just called it Angelina and called it a day.
