Kate Hudson’s little boy Ryder has finally gotten over his haircut anxiety. He’s lopped off his long locks for this adorable little crew cut!  Do you like Ryder’s new style?

Now that he’s hit the ripe old age of six, it was time for Ryder Robinson to get a more sophisticated cut. Kate Hudson, whose hair we also adore, has said in the past that her 6-year old son refused to chop his blonde waves because he wanted to have long hair like his daddy, rock star Chris Robinson.

Ryder also told his mom that if she insisted on cutting his hair he wanted a mohawk, just like the one Angelina Jolie’s son Maddox used to have.

This cropped (dare we say preppy?) ‘do is far from a mohawk. Ryder looks cute no matter what, but we like that the little man is already mixing up his style.
