Here’s another take on spring’s biggest hair trend. Don’t you love Mary Kate’s braided headband?

If you haven’t figured it out by now, braids are back in a big way. Every night this week a new starlet has been stepping out with a fun and totally different take on the trend. From Malin Akerman’s fun braided pony to Hilary Duff’s beautiful fishtail bun to Jessica Alba‘s super-chic daytime ‘do everyone is loving the look. Mary Kate Olsen jumped on the braid bandwagon at a restaurant opening in NYC on Apr. 14. MK went for a pretty “headband” version by twisting a braid around the top portion of her head and gathering it into a half bun in the back. I love how her tousled tresses and the soft, slightly undone braid make her look like a medieval princess. I definitely suggest trying this look out this weekend. It’ll look great with one of this season’s pretty floral frocks. - Marta Topran
