Are high waisted shorts cute or corny? New mom Kourt wants you to help her decide!

Kourtney Kardashian walked into her boutique, Dash, on Apr. 7 sporting high waisted, loose shorts, and it seems like her super stylish look drew quite the criticism. While I think her outfit is very fashion forward, judging by the khaki color and the belt I can see why people would call them “mom” shorts — but Kourtney doesn’t care! She blogged, “I went into DASH Miami the other day to check up on the store and wore these high-waisted shorts. How do you feel about high waisted shorts? I have seen some people say i look like a “mom” in them or that high-waisted shorts are “mom” shorts…well guess what honey, I am a MOM! Thank you very much.”

Kourt, as long as you avoid crew-neck sweatshirts and fanny packs, I think you’re totally fine! You’re definitely more stylish and chic than the average mom if you ask me — although it doesn’t look like the reality star minds if you tell her she’s dressing like a mom, she’s proud of her new title! Good for you, Kourt!

I like high waisted shorts — while they can be tricky to pull off, Kourt’s are loose and long, making them flattering for multiple figures — but what do you think? Are high waisted shorts stylish or should they strictly be reserved for moms?
