Soap stud Aiden Turner was voted off last night as Kate’s fans rallied to keep her on Dancing with the Stars.
The judges on Dancing With The Stars clearly disagree with Kate Gosselin‘s fans! They gave her and partner Tony Dovolani the lowest score out of the nine remaining couples (32 points) on the show’s April 13 episode. But despite coming in dead last, Kate’s fans voted to keep her around, sending home Aiden Turner and partner Edyta Sliwinska who came in second to last place with a score of 33.
“This week is the tango, and I honestly don’t know much about it,” Kate admitted during practice. “This week we are being judged on technique and performance. I’m not strong at either, let’s be honest.”
Though the judges did give Kate credit for her very slight improvement — judge Bruno Tonio said, “Your technique is still very, very bad, but you’re actually starting to move out there” — they still think she still has a long way to go! Her technique still looks forced and she seems to be concentrating way too hard on her next step.
Is it Kate’s “mom guilt” that’s keeping her in the game?
“It’s this custody stuff playing out in the public,” Kate said on the show. “That’s what I’m talking about. That’s what I bring here and I can’t let go,” Kate said.
Kate, your fans seem to agree with you. They’re tired of seeing you being dragged through the mud, and they’re trying to help you make it to the top — even if it’s just the top of Dancing with the Stars.
