EXCLUSIVE! Jill Zarin Wants To Be Friends With Bethenny Frankel Again: 'I've Already Said Sorry Many Times!'

Bethenny — Jill misses you and she says she’s ready to forget the past — but are you ready to move on, too?

Who would have thought that The Real Housewives of New York City‘s Jill Zarin would be the first to say sorry? Well, that’s the case between her and ex-BFF, Bethenny Frankel. We caught up with Jill at the launch party for her new book, Secrets of a Jewish Mother at Zarin Fabrics in NYC on April 13, and she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “I’ve already said sorry many times” to Bethenny!

Jill and Bethenny grew apart and then began feuding last year when Bethenny met and began a whirlwind love affair with new boyfriend / now husband Jason Hoppy . Tensions between the two housewives have heated up to say the least, during season three of their show. In last week’s episode, Bethenny did make an attempt to patch things up with Jill but she went about it in the wrong way – a surprise confrontation at Housewife Ramona Singer‘s house! No surprise- it was a disaster. No one, least of all Jill ,likes to be caught off guard!

Season three wrapped up filming months ago, and now Jill tells us she’s finally ready to forgive Bethenny and move on. She misses her onetime BFF and wants to make amends.

But we’ll have to wait a few more episodes before we see things calm down on the show itself. “I’ve gotten the s**t kicked out of me and tomorrow is not going to be any better,” Jill says of an upcoming episode. “It’s another beat up Jill night. … The story hasn’t unfolded yet. There’s still many more episodes to come. You haven’t seen the entire Jill story.”

We can’t wait, and we hope Bethenny reaches out an olive branch too!

I think Jill was wrong for the way she treated Bethenny. Time and time again Bethenny tried to apologize but Jill wouldn’t even acknowledge her. I love Bethenny and think she is awesome. And as far as Kelley, well she’s just plain out of it. She always thought Bethenny was out to get her when she wasn’t. And as far a “THE CONTESSA,” she is a trouble maker and she’s and instigator. To me she’s not a perfect as she tries to get people to believe.

I think all of you were “spot on” re: Jill. The supposed ambush in Ramona’s apartment, was not the first attempt by Bethenny to apologize. She had attempted several times.

Jill just hates the fact that she is one of the most hated of the “Toxic Trio” (her, LuAnn & Kelly), and is JEALOUS that Bethenny has become the most popular and that Alex & Ramona have gained new fans..

I totally agree I think Bethany should run from Jill and the countless. Bethany is so far out of their league! She is self made, beautiful, and now married to a great guy and starting a family. God bless you. I would love to see you in your own show about babies, husbands and food!! I am rooting for you honey!

Lets be honest. Jill is only sorry because fans did join her gang in the “I hate B train”. She has a book to sell. I have a friend who wasted her money on this book and I took a look. There is no advice in this book and the author doesn’t follow what she preaches. Jill’s advice is to settle with a man as long as he has money. WHAT??? Better yet get her dieting tips, to poor your drink over your food so you don’t over eat. Forget about good manners, the waiters who have to clean it up. How about a to go box prior to bringing the food out? What a joke, on Amazon where Jill threatens anyone who has a bad review of her book under the guise of another name she goes as far as to threaten taking away someones cat and calling the antisemantic. She then goes on to email several of the people to threaten further. HEY JILL, the Gig is up we all know you are a pitiful, hateful shrew. Who would want to buy anything from you? Don’t waste your money, trust me.

Bethenny did her best to get Jill’s friendship back and was denied several times. Sometimes, it’s just too late, Jill. I do not believe Bethenny has to be Jill’s friend any longer.

so true. i can’t believe she was even jealous of RAMONA b/c ramona got to walk in the fashion show and was looking great! (yes, she walked weird and eyes were too “fierce”- but alex did those fierce eyes, too- they must’ve misinterpreted the designer’s instructions.) ramona’s figure and hair looked faboosh, and all jill could do was criticize the jewelry and such. jill, you need to take a COLD hard look at yourself!

I use to think Jill was the best ..well no I liked bethany the best but then Jill.. Now I hate Jill. maybe she talks over everybody b/c she comes from the real world and cannot believe the nonsense she is hearing from these people that live in such an unreal hypocritical world where you smile and put up with this nonsense b/c there are so few of you to hang out with, you don’t want to offend anyone. you can’t hang with the “poor” (or, non-rich) people, b/c they can’t afford to do what you want, and if you paid for them, it’d set up a bad dynamic- and you’re too greedy to pay for them anyway… so, you put up with these utter deralics and social misfits, all to stay in your rich circle. the mere thought of being elsewhere is so frightening to you, you just swallow all of this sh!t. i mean, most of us, including me, don’t know these people, and i am not a psychiatrist, but this is the only explanation i can fathom for the behaviors of this odd species of people. i would love to have money, but, gasp, would i turn into THAT!?!? the only annoying thing, is that they think they’re better than the rest of us b/c they have an endless supply of crisp bills… but, whatever. they are an interesting species, for sure. i do find them fascinating, to say the least. and, i’d still hang out with ramona b/c she is just too f’ing funny.

Bethanny should avoid Jill like the plague.. she’s not trustworthy nor a friend, Luann the troll interfered way too much between Bethanny and Jill by fueling the fire and feeding Jill’s newly found enormous ego, Luann just doesn’t understand her new role as Countless…. I used to like Jill and thought she had it somewhat together but not anymore Luann inspired her to new low’s and Jill happily went along with it, sure you can be mad at your best friend or friends and say things that are not real great in the heat of the moment… but you say your sorry and make it up to them and don’t let it happen again….what those two card carrying flying broom freaks (Jill and Luann) have said about Bethanny goes so far off the reservation ….. it goes beyond mean girl syndrome…

i am not a fan of bethenny either, but jill is so far in the wrong on this one- and bethenny isn’t. i can dislike bethenny for other reasons, but vis a vis this jill tiff, bethenny has been the only rationale adult- and jill is a catty high school trying-to-gang-up, can’t-stand-by-herself mean girl. your comment suggests you don’t watch the show, so you probably haven’t seen how jaw-droppingly shockingly immature and mean jill has been. she really had us all fooled last season, i think that’s what has made us all so surprised and angry at her. oh, and we watch the show to see how some of the more privilieged people in this country live- it’s entertaining and enlightening for some people. but, you must be fully enlightened and entertained already (except, then why would you be reading hollywoodlife?).

i think alex is a genuine and good person- i like her fine (tho prob she’s a little too unglam for the show), but her husband acts like a moron and trying too hard to be a celebrity. i don’t think he’s a BAD person (maybe my standards have been lowered by the rest of them), but, he’s just kind of annoying and too busy trying to stand out. in any case, these two are much more genuine than any of the others. well, i think bethenny is pretty genuine… abrasive sometimes, but genuine. ramona, although i find her hysterical, is completely psychotic… usually in a good way, but she is so unstable this season. could she be going through menopause or something? she just acts very all over the place with her moods… the attack of jill’s sponsor’s company last night was so odd and vicious out of nowhere. i mean, maybe there was more to it- like jill had done something similar to her recently something- i don’t know. but, it was oddly mean. i hadn’t noticed that about ramona before. omg. i go on and on about this show!!!! foolish…

Did Jill really think anyone forgot that in order for jill to get her “PP” as the rich and faaabulous refer to their private planes, she had to sell a lot of books. I remember that line very well. I wouldn’t take the book for free.

I think she is a world class spoiled “diva” that has come to expect all things “Jill”, because she is Jill ZZZZaaaRIN.

Betheny seems really happy, why would you want a friend with a stalker like Jill. I’m sure Betheny’s success just drives her crazy! It is the one thing Jill can’t buy.

Jill has the most amazing ability to put her spin on anything. Her behavior is appalling…yes, bully sums it up. Her reaction at Ramona’s floored me since she sure thought throwing Bethenny and Kelly under a bus was ok when she did it. I agree with other posts. Jill was not the first to apologize. Bethenny tried to apologize and make things right a number of times. Plus, the timing is really suspect. Jill must think Bethenny and viewers are idiots. The only reason she is sorry now is because she needs to sell books.

what’s up with luann’s boots? for these richie riches to wear anything twice, i’ve seen them a billion times already (maybe she wears a new pair for every occassion), and here, they’re totally out of whack for her outfit- even with the light color and refined style, they’re too heavy for that dress. i wear boots to hide my legs, so i’m wondering if she’s doing the same? i can’t imagine anything wrong with her looks- she’s gorgeous (on the outside), so what’s the deal with those boots constantly? anyone?

oh, but you know, she “usually stays in hotels” when she’s in town… argh… luann… the only thing that sort of saves luann for me, is that i think i like the relationship she has with her daughter who acts very connected with and respectful of her mother. maybe it’s not real, but it makes me think that luann is better than the “snake” that most of us have pegged her as.

ummm, hasn’t bethenny tried to say and in fact said a million times, sorry? not sure how i get that jill was the first… and, jill has become so unlikeable that any sh!t-kicking is well deserved. i have little to no sympathy for her, and don’t like this woe-is-me story. she deserves the kicking b/c she’s trying to gang up on bethenny and avoid confrontation b/c she knows she doesn’t have a leg to stand on! she would not have been mad about that “ambush” if it weren’t for the fact that the shows producers had a role in it and she realized she was just a pawn and that she was also being played by them, instead of the orchestrating mother role she had last year. she was just mad that she wasn’t in control of what was gonna happen in front of the cameras. it had nothing to do with being ambushed by bethenny and everything about being proven wrong and busted ON NATIONAL TV. so, jill, i’m sure the world will forgive you eventually if you take ownership of your attrocious high school behavior and stop throwing around the c word for sympathy. sincerely, one of your past fans and currently extremely disappointed and disallusioned followers of the foolishness that is rhnyc.

I’m sure Zarin is saying this now simply because the public is so overwhelmingly against her that it is hurting her bottom line (& she’s got an ‘advice’ book to sell – BIG LAUGH on that! I’m sure her publisher is pretty upset right about now.) This change of heart is CLEARLY manufactured because of her book launch. The reality is, just 2 weeks ago Zarin was STILL giving negative interviews about Bethenny. This supposed change is clearly the idea of a publicist who is trying to rehabilitate her image.

If I was Bethenny I wouldn’t have anything to do with her. I believe in the adage, ‘When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.’ Zarin has shown herself to be petty, hateful and wholly dishonest, and seemed to think she was amusing doing it. I’m sure all the negative public reaction coming her way in the last few weeks is a big shock to someone so self-centered. She is simply horrible. And she is shown, right on camera, lying on the show, so should these calculated comments are obviously more of the same.

It’s funny that Jill is so Jealouse of Bethany and I am so made. You know when people have cancer it very personal and it’s very hard for people to come up to you and say sorry. Its just a very personal mader. It mite be very hard for Bethany to talk to Jill Husband she did a good thing by sender her flower. What do you say, cancer is a very personal thing and people just don’t know what to say. Trust me I went through it myself and I still have a very hard time when I see someone going throught cancer and I cna’t say anything its very hard.
