EXCLUSIVE! Lee DeWyze, Our ‘Idol’ Judge Blake Lewis Thinks You Could ‘Fart Onstage’ And America Would Still Love You!

Gross – but probably true. You were the underdog, Lee, and now it looks like you have a shot at superstardom!

Lee DeWyze, you are officially a contender! At least, our own, personal American Idol judge Blake Lewis thinks so! After your performance of “A Little Less Conversation” during Elvis Presley week April 13, Blake thinks you’re a lock to stay in the competition. But which TWO contestants will be sent home now that the judges used their season save on Michael Lynche last week? Take it away, Blake!

Highlight 1

Crystal Bowersox put it down last night singing Elvis’ “Saved.” It was the perfect song choice for her. Bluesy with a little bit of soul. She has the potential to be in the finale.

Highlight 2

Lee DeWyze. This guy could fart on stage and America would love it. He has that Daughtry sound and did a great job with his version of “A Little Less Conversation.” I’m thinking Top 4 for a prediction.

Highlight 3

Adam Lambert was the guest mentor and he did a really great job. He didn’t hold back and told the contestants exactly what he thought, with brutal honesty at times. Quote of the night: “My tongue isn’t nearly as talented as yours” - Ryan Seacrest to Adam Lambert.

Highlight 4

Michael Lynche got the “Best Performance of the Night Award” from me. He blessed the stage doing a really intimate version of “In The Ghetto.” His falsetto was perfect and his tone was spot on. He is miles ahead as a performer compared to the others, which is why I think he was saved last week.

Siobhan Magnus.…The judges finally pointed out her two different voices and said they weren’t a fan of her version of “Suspicious Minds.” Let’s see if she stays afloat. I think she might be in the bottom three tonight.

Two people are going home this week – who do you think it’s going to be?

I don’t really get what is so great about Lee, either. He has got an alright voice, but nothing I haven’t heard before. I hope he isn’t the winner!

Blakeeeeee, I am shocked at your review! I definately do not see eye to eye with you on who is good and who we will never hear from again. Siobhan was awesome. The judges are picking on her. The same way Simon picked on you, David Cook, Taylor, etc….Crystal doesn’t stand a chance in this competition. Simons pets, ie….Melinda Doolittle, David Archuletta, Katherine McPhee, etc.. DID NOT WIN! Come on bro! Wake up, open your eyes and ears!

okay, i haven’t watched yet, but i have to say i don’t necessarily agree with blake’s take on lee. my guess is it’s more approp to say that the JUDGES would like it, than america. i think he’s okay, sounds good, but i always have the sense that the judges like him more than we do… but, i shouldn’t say “we” cuz it’s just me. i think lee is fine, sounds good enough, but i’m also kinda bored by him. then again, there was nothing particularly compelling that i remember about carrie underwood or her story except being uber-likeable and sweet, either, and america (and i) still loved her… so maybe it’s okay that he doesn’t have an exciting story and demeanor. personally, thus far, i’m just pulling for any of the girls though i LIKE most of the guys (even tim, b/c i respect his perseverence and good attitude dispute constantly being slammed- though i heard he improved this week). katie is even growing on me.
