Kate, we were touched by your comments this morning on the Today Show about how your eight little kiddies wish you and Jon weren’t divorced. We bet your kids miss you so much since you’re gone so much for DWTS.

Kate Gosselin, you need to race home from NYC and go see your kids! We watched you on the Today Show Apr. 13 discussing your divorce with Jon Gosselin, your adorable eight Gosselettes, and your new book I Just Want You To Know and we couldn’t help but feel empathy for your eight little ones. “I’m really tired and I really miss them [my kids] honestly,” says Kate. “They don’t like it [the divorce] they say things like I wish mommy and daddy could be together.”

Even though your ex-husband Jon filed for custody April 7 of your eight little kids claiming you were an “absentee” mom you gracefully told Today Show host Meredith Vieira, “I am a working mom and cameras are on me, so people catch me traveling or working,” she says. “I’ve got to work harder now than ever because I am a single mom and in my heart, I am always in my kitchen baking and cooking for my kids, and I will always be there. It is a struggle to be here … I would rather be at home with them.”

Your book I Just Want You To Know hits bookstores today, Apr. 13 and you tell Meredith you wrote it for your children. “This came to me when I was driving … everything we’ve been through,” she says. “I just wanted them to know how much I love them. It’s not just what I tell people it is truly what is in my heart. I wanted to write it down … advice for now and for the future.”
