Miley and her man may seem totally different on the outside – but she says they click because they had similar rural upbringings in different countries
I would have thought Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth hit it off because they’re both so freakin’ good-looking (who has better hair than Miley or better legs than Liam?), but it turns out that these two are actually compatible because they both grew up with herds of cattle!
“I went to Australia to visit him and his family and I was like, ‘Omigosh, this looks like Nashville.’ There were cows everywhere!” the 17-year-old starlet told the UK’s Daily Mirror of her BF and The Last Song co-star Liam, 20.
People (along with myself, admittedly) may think that Aussie-born surfer dude Liam couldn’t be more opposite from attention-loving, dancer girl Miley – the Tennessee-native turned Hollywood It-Girl – but apparently there’s more to love and compatibility than doing the same job or being equally attractive.
Miley, who has been dating Liam since their film started shooting last July – is perplexed by the fact that she and Liam can come from such similar places on the opposite sides of the world. “[I asked Liam] how are you from the opposite side of the planet and your world looks just like mine? And he was like, ‘You know, some people are just like in tune.’”

I will admit it, Miley annoys me slightly. But some of her music is pretty catchy (especially for working out) and I DO love her hair. I think they are a pretty cute couple (much better than her and the last guy) and Im thinking his surfer ways may mellow her out?
