We told you first that Rihanna was dating the LA Dodgers player, and we’re glad she’s finally coming clean about her relationship!

Finally! After months of speculation, Rihanna has finally confirmed that she and LA Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp are a couple!

“He’s my boyfriend,” the 22-year-old songbird acknowledged today, April 8, on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.

She added, “It’s new and it’s fun and it’s nothing too serious. I don’t want anything that’s going to take up so much of my energy or time right now in a bad way. It’s just fun.”

We told you first Ri and Matt, 25, rang in the new year together in Dubai, and were caught doing some sexy canoodling during a Mexican vacation Jan. 4.

However, the two seemed to have split by Jan 28. when Rihanna announced on the Valentine in the Morning radio program that she was “single and going to the Grammys alone.”

We’re glad to hear that love is in the air again. Now here’s hoping Matt is MUCH, MUCH nicer to you than your ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, Ri!
