Leighton Meester subtly lightened her tresses just in time for spring! Do you like her new look?

Believe it or not, Leighton Meester was a full on blonde before she joined the cast of Gossip Girl. Now, we’re so used to seeing her in Blair Waldorf brunette mode that it’s surprising to see the starlet with a lighter shade of brown. She premiered her new look at the NYC premiere of Tina Fey‘s new flick, Date Night on Apr. 6. I think Leighton’s lightened up hue is a great option for brunettes who don’t want to take the blonde plunge but still want to look a little sunnier for spring. What do you think?
